Amongst villages and vineyards, the visitors can find
interesting architectural elements along their itinerary.
These elements show that the impact of Art Nouveau not
only affected big cities but also, and remarkably, the
countryside.
Wineries, middle-class mansions and service buildings
spread throughout this pleasant and rich area which,
from the 18th century, has as its main driving force
wine production. Their owners wanted to express, in
a visible way, the dynamism in their activities through
the symbols contributed by this Modernista movement.
