At the Lillet valley, and following a narrow meander
of the River Llobregat near its source at the Pyrenees,
the brilliant artist Antoni Gaudí created the
only damp garden among the several he designed. The
area has countless elements full of fantasy and imagination
such as bridges, grottos, arbours, animals and fountains
–all of them perfectly incorporated into nature.
The itinerary is rounded off with the visit of the spectacular
Clot del Moro concrete factory, another Modernista instance
of incorporating architecture into nature– in
this case, an industrial building created by Rafael
Guastavino, now a museum.
