| This route is a walk through
the old Pujol i Bausis Ceramics Factory, popularly known
as La Rajoleta. It presents what was one of the foremost
production centres of Modernista and Noucentista architectural
ceramics. Visitors will become acquainted with part
of the ceramics heritage of Esplugues and enter one
of the various kilns and learn how it worked.
A few steps away stands the Can Tinturé Museum,
which displays the “Salvador Miquel” decorative
glazed ceramic tile collection, giving the visitor a
glimpse of the background of the ceramic production
at the Pujol i Bausis Factory.
“La Rajoleta” and Can Tinturé Museum
can form the start of an original and surprising urban
itinerary through the historic centre of the town, comprising
Carrer de l’Església, Carrer Montserrat
and Parc del Torrents.
